Oracle → PCIS HUB

Near-Real-Time Enterprise Data Synchronization

Designed and deployed a controlled integration layer that synchronizes operational data from Oracle 11g into PCIS HUB approximately every 30 seconds, providing near-real-time access to enterprise data while preserving Oracle as the source of record.

01 / Project Context

Replace repeated manual extraction with continuously refreshed enterprise data.

Operational teams needed current Oracle data inside PCIS HUB without relying on repeated exports, manual imports or direct navigation through the legacy system. The integration was designed to preserve Oracle as the source of record while making synchronized business data available through the modern platform.

02 / Integration Architecture

A controlled synchronization layer between Oracle 11g and PCIS HUB.

A dedicated Windows Server integration environment runs PowerShell synchronization services against a read-only Oracle account. Delta processing, validation and reconciliation are applied before approved changes are written into PCIS HUB.

03 / Synchronized Data

Multiple business datasets maintained through independent synchronization services.

The live integration covers machine, inventory, history, sales and forecast datasets. Current health monitoring represents more than 500,000 Oracle source records across the synchronized services.

469 source records

Machines

Installed machine master data and operational attributes.

39 source records

Inventory

Current synchronized inventory records.

15,639 source records

Machine History

Historical machine and operational activity.

1,570 source records

Sales Catalog

Controlled catalog data used by the sales workflows.

474,458 source records

Sales Documents

High-volume sales document data synchronized incrementally.

33,372 source records

Fulfillment

Operational fulfillment and document-status data.

3,103 source records

Customer Forecast

Customer-level forecast data used by the sales module.

333 source records

Salesperson Sales

Salesperson-level performance and forecast data.

04 / Live Monitoring

Integration health is visible inside PCIS HUB.

Built a synchronization health layer that tracks connection state, source volumes, last successful updates, received changes and errors for each service. Overdue synchronization can be identified without accessing the integration server directly.

05 / Reliability & Safety

Designed to synchronize safely, not blindly.

The integration uses read-only Oracle access and controlled server-side writes. Validation and reconciliation checks protect source-to-target integrity before changes are accepted by PCIS HUB.

  • Read-only Oracle integration account
  • Delta-based synchronization
  • Source-to-target reconciliation checks
  • Duplicate-prevention and controlled update logic
  • Safety stops when returned volumes fall outside expected conditions
  • Error and synchronization-recency monitoring

06 / Operational Impact

Near-real-time Oracle data available where teams already work.

Replaced repeated manual imports and direct Oracle lookups with continuously refreshed operational data inside PCIS HUB. Machine, inventory, sales, fulfillment and forecast information can now feed role-specific dashboards and workflows through one controlled integration path.
